This calls for a celebration. Pop the bubbly—or even better, fix yourself a Sparkling Dragon Fruit Margarita—and join us for a toast. Our blog turns 6 next month so of course we had to do something extra special for the occasion. On our official launch day—April 29th, 2015—we published two recipes: a zesty Penne with Zucchini and Lemon (still a favorite) and Triple Chocolate Fudge Brownies, a signature dessert that is famous among our circle of friends and family. Long before we started Husbands That Cook, we used to bring these glorious fudgy squares to every dinner party and birthday celebration, and they always stole the show, so it was clear that this beloved recipe had to appear first on our site. So in honor of our sixth blog birthday, we have a sweet surprise for you.
Happy Friday everyone! Today we’re hosting a fun giveaway! These killer Salted Brownies are adapted from Justin Chapple’s new book, Just Cook It!, and we are giving away a copy to one lucky winner! Visit our Instagram page for all the details and to enter, and we will be announcing the winner LIVE at 12pm PST tomorrow on our weekly IG show! Good luck! Now please excuse us while we start the weekend with more browwwnieees! xoxo Adam and Ryan
Sometimes recipes don’t turn out the way you expect. Our original plan was to have a red velvet cake ready to post today, but it turned out to be somewhat of a disaster. We tried replacing the artificial red food dye with puréed beets, but the result was a soggy, tasteless mess. While we continue searching for other natural alternatives, we have decided to instead share one of our all-time favorite desserts: a rich, gooey, chocolatey treat that is decadently delicious, with no beets in sight. Allow us to introduce you to chocolate peanut butter brownie cups.
Your search for the perfect brownie is officially over. These dark and decadent, gooey, and oh-so-chocolatey fudge brownies are something that must be experienced as soon as possible. Imagine sinking your teeth into a chewy, deep, chocolate brownie combined with an intense creamy fudge, splashed with chocolate chips, and why are you still reading this? Go to the kitchen and start baking these glorious delights right now.
